After a full-scale mobilization to attack the Death Star, Epic Games has launched Chapter 6 of Fortnite Season 3. The new update brings a superhero theme, with Superman and Robin as the main highlights in the new battle pass. Additional changes include new mechanics in battle royale mode and the fourth season of Chapter 1 in Fortnite Rebooted mode.
Fortnite new season: New mechanics shake up the battle royale mode
Players jumping into the new Fortnite season can already enjoy the latest updates. Anyone entering the main battle royale mode, whether in build or no-build, is automatically promoted to Hero Rank C. The ranking system evolves based on heroic actions performed during matches, allowing players to reach up to Rank S+.
The arsenal now includes new items such as Morgana’s Gauntlets and Disruptor’s Revolvers. Following the superhero theme, players can also use Robin’s Grapple and summon the superdog Krypto by activating the Krypto Snack item.
In the superhero-themed battle pass, players can unlock Superman’s skin inspired by the new movie and Robin’s Teen Titans version. A new set of missions is expected to launch on July 11, introducing additional Superman skin variants.
Fortnite Reload brings back nostalgic locations
Beyond the battle pass content, Fortnite has also announced a new season of Fortnite Rebooted. This mode allows players to revisit iconic locations from Chapter 1 Season 4.
Fans can return to places like Dusty Divot and Risky Reels. The Shopping Cart mechanic is also back for a limited time, giving players the chance to ride across the map or cause chaos using the classic vehicle.
At this time, Epic Games has not revealed further details about upcoming in-game events or additional content for the season. However, more information is expected in the coming days.
Players on all supported Fortnite platforms can already enjoy both the new battle pass content and the nostalgic features of Fortnite Reload.
