I am receiving a “No Internet Detected” warning
This warning appears when ExitLag is unable to identify an active internet connection on your device.
1 - What does the “No Internet Detected” warning mean?
It means that no IPv4 or IPv6 connection was detected on any active network interface (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). The system checked all active network interfaces and did not find:
- A valid IPv4 address
- A valid IPv6 address
In other words, your device currently has no internet access.
2 - What does “No IPv4 internet connection detected.” mean?
- It means that no active IPv4 connection was found on your device. None of the active network interfaces have a valid IPv4 address.
- If your connection is IPv6-only, ExitLag may not function properly, as optimization depends on IPv4 connectivity. In this case, we recommend contacting your internet provider to check the possibility of enabling IPv4 (Dual Stack).
3 - Simple things you can do to fix it
- Check if the network cable is properly connected
- Check if Wi-Fi is enabled and connected
- Restart your computer
- Restart your modem and router
- Test another network (if possible)
- Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
4 - What does contacting your Internet Service Provider mean?
It means speaking directly with the company that provides your internet connection (ISP) to:
- Check for regional instability
- Confirm that your connection is active
- Request technical support
- Verify whether IPv4 is enabled
- Request Dual Stack activation (IPv4 + IPv6), if necessary
