The Brawl-O-Ween 2026 event has turned Halloween in Brawl Stars into a mystery unfolding across Starr Park. Gus disappeared after entering Mortis' Mortuary, and players must help Mortis find out what happened.
Rather than focusing only on themed rewards and boss fights, this year's event follows a story across four phases. It features puzzles, community votes, creator-led activities, and a finale expected in early November.
The Brawl-O-Ween 2026 event began on October 1. As of October 16, Scary Coffins is the main active phase, allowing players to vote for coffins and predict their contents to earn rewards. Here's everything you need to know about the schedule, skins, and how to participate.
Brawl-O-Ween is Brawl Stars' annual Halloween celebration. Supercell typically uses the occasion to introduce spooky skins, special challenges, and themed rewards. However, the 2026 edition puts an ongoing storyline at the center of the event.
The story begins with Gus disappearing inside Mortis' Mortuary. Each phase reveals another part of the mystery while players take part in individual and community activities.
New features include Coffin Boxes, which contain random rewards, and Loony, Gus' balloon that stores prizes earned through daily wins. Classic Brawl-O-Ween bosses also return during the celebration.
Supercell reveals each phase's details as it begins. Check the in-game countdown and news section for confirmed times, requirements, and possible schedule changes.
You don't need a separate game mode to join the Brawl Stars Halloween event. Most activities can be accessed through the regular lobby, as long as your game is updated.
Halloween skins are among the main attractions of Brawl-O-Ween 2026. Players can find them through the Brawl Pass and other releases featured in the update.
The Brawl Pass highlights two Epic skins:
Gravestone Griff is also among the possible rewards in Scary Coffins.
That doesn't mean the skin will necessarily become available for free. The community will unlock only 12 of the 24 coffins, so it's worth following the reveals before spending Gems.

Brawl-O-Ween 2026 Event Schedule
The event runs throughout October and into early November. The first two phases have established dates, while the final two follow the preliminary schedule. Their exact dates and times still need confirmation through the in-game news tab.| Phase | Event | Dates | Main activity |
| 1 | Find Gus | October 1–12 | Six puzzle rooms inside Mortis' Mortuary, with a Coffin Box for completing them |
| 2 | Scary Coffins | October 15–26 | Community quests, coffin voting, and reward predictions |
| 3 | Creator Event | October 26–29 (expected) | Community experience led by content creators |
| 4 | Last Coffin | October 29–November 5 (expected) | Final chapter of Gus' story |
Find Gus: What Happened in Phase One?
The Find Gus phase ended on October 12. It worked like a point-and-click mystery, with a new room inside Mortis' Mortuary opening every two days. Each room featured interactive objects, puzzles, and hidden secrets. Players who completed all six rooms received a Coffin Box. Some rooms also contained Chaos Drops and additional collectibles, including pins associated with Damian, Chuck, and Piper. Since the announced period has ended, players should not assume those rewards are still available. If the #FindGus button remains visible in your lobby, check whether any activities can still be completed.Scary Coffins: The Current Phase
Running from October 15 to 26, Scary Coffins is the main attraction right now. The event graveyard contains 24 coffins, but the community can open only 12 of them. Players help decide which coffins are unlocked through voting. The community also needs to complete 100 million quests each day. Players can make predictions about the rewards hidden inside the coffins. Voting and predicting serve different purposes: voting helps select the next coffin, while a correct prediction earns an extra Chaos Drop. The coffin and gravestone designs provide clues, but they do not guarantee a particular reward. Community theories should not be treated as confirmed answers before the official reveal. How to Participate in Brawl-O-Ween 2026
You don't need a separate game mode to join the Brawl Stars Halloween event. Most activities can be accessed through the regular lobby, as long as your game is updated.
- Update Brawl Stars through Google Play or the App Store.
- Open the lobby and select an available event activity, such as #ScaryCoffins.
- Complete quests to contribute to the community goal and participate in daily voting.
- Submit predictions about the rewards hidden in the coffins.
- Play matches to reach six daily wins and check the rewards stored in Loony.
How Does Loony Work?
Loony is Gus' balloon, which appears in the lobby throughout the event. Each daily win adds a reward to the balloon, up to a maximum of six wins per day. The rewards include Starr Drops and Chaos Drops, with up to two Starr Drops available each day. After your sixth win, press and hold Loony to pop the balloon and collect your rewards. Progress resets daily. If you complete all six wins but forget to pop the balloon, the rewards will be delivered automatically the following day. What's Inside a Coffin Box?
Each Coffin Box contains 10 rewards, including at least one guaranteed premium reward, according to Supercell's official support information. Possible rewards include Coins, Power Points, Credits, Bling, XP Doublers, Gems, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges, Brawlers, and skins. Drop rates vary depending on the reward category. A possible reward is not the same as a guaranteed one. There is also no verified reason to save Coffin Boxes in the hope of improving their drop rates.Special Game Modes and Seasonal Features
The update associated with Brawl-O-Ween also introduced special game modes and modifiers that fit the Halloween theme. Their availability depends on the current in-game event rotation.Hide & Seek and Prop Hunt
In Hide & Seek, one player becomes the Hunter while three others try to stay hidden. Matches feature four rounds lasting 45 seconds each, with players switching roles. The Hunter receives increased movement speed, damage, and health, but cannot regenerate health. The Hiders win a round if at least one survives until the timer runs out. The Prop Hunt modifier lets stationary players transform into objects from the environment. Attacking reveals your position. However, remaining still again allows you to take on another disguise.Loaded Walls, Friendly Fire, and Vince
With Loaded Walls, destroying certain walls can release dangerous objects, including bombs and bowling balls. Friendly Fire allows attacks to damage teammates, making positioning and attack timing more important. The same update also introduced Vince, a Mythic Damage Dealer Brawler. Vince works as a barista at the Creepy Café and collects caterpillars that transform into moths during matches. He is part of the season's new content rather than one of the four phases of Gus' storyline.Brawl-O-Ween 2026 Halloween Skins
