GTA 6 radio stations: Rockstar reveals six and their hosts

4 min

The first details about GTA 6 radio stations are here. On October 8, 2026, Rockstar Games unveiled six stations for Grand Theft Auto VI. Their genres range from Latin music to metal.

Rockstar also introduced the artists behind the broadcasts. Bad Bunny, Burna Boy, Lana Del Rey, and members of Slayer are among the announced hosts. Their involvement will help shape the musical identity of the fictional state of Leonida.

Beyond GTA 6 radio stations, players will have access to on-demand podcasts. The developer is also preparing an official album with Atlantic Records, extending the game’s music beyond its in-world broadcasts.

Rockstar previewed six stations, each with its own musical focus. The selection includes contemporary sounds, regional influences, and familiar names from the franchise. This reveal should not be mistaken for the game’s complete radio lineup.

All six stations, genres, and hosts

Station Music genre Announced hosts
Cocoteo FM Reggaeton and contemporary Latin music Bad Bunny and RaiNao
AfroBank FM African music, amapiano, and classics Burna Boy and Palms Trax
The Chamber 106.6 Classic metal Kerry King and Tom Araya
Flash FM Pop Robyn and Alex Consani
Dirty South Classics Southern US rap and hip-hop Trick Daddy and Trina
Back Country Radio Country with an alternative edge Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey, and Jeremy Dufrene

Cocoteo FM puts contemporary Latin sounds front and center, reflecting part of Leonida’s cultural identity. AfroBank FM expands the selection with different styles of African music. Both stations feature internationally recognized artists as radio hosts.

Back Country Radio was another notable reveal. Its country programming offers a contrast to the urban-focused stations, while Dirty South Classics draws on the history of Southern rap.

Bad Bunny, Slayer, and the return of Flash FM

Bad Bunny will host Cocoteo FM under the name El Martillo, alongside RaiNao. The pairing brings Caribbean rhythms into focus and reflects the Latin influences associated with Vice City.

Slayer members Kerry King and Tom Araya will take over The Chamber 106.6, a station devoted to metal. Meanwhile, Robyn and Alex Consani will host Flash FM. The station previously appeared in GTA: Vice City, making its return a direct link to the series’ past.

Trick Daddy and Trina also join the lineup of GTA 6 radio hosts on Dirty South Classics. Their involvement connects the station to Southern rap. Taken together, the presenters suggest Rockstar wants each frequency to have a personality of its own, rather than simply serving as a different playlist.

Podcasts expand GTA 6’s audio experience

Traditional stations will not be the only listening option. For the first time in the series, players will have access to on-demand podcasts alongside radio broadcasts as they explore Leonida.

While GTA 6 radio stations maintain the familiar broadcast format, podcasts will let players select programs based on their preferences.

How will Jason and Lucia listen to the programs?

Both protagonists will be able to access the content through their in-game smartphones. With headphones, players can keep listening as they walk around the map, as well as during car journeys.

That changes a familiar part of the series, where much of the music experience has traditionally been tied to driving. Podcasts introduce another way to follow in-game programming without relying solely on a vehicle’s radio.

Rockstar has not provided a complete list of podcasts in this preview. The announcement confirms the format and listening options, but does not yet establish every program’s topics or presenters.

GTA 6 soundtrack album will feature 34 tracks

The GTA 6 soundtrack will also get a separate music release. The project brings together original tracks in a collection distinct from the complete song selection featured on the in-game stations.

Atlantic Records partnership and release date

Created in partnership with Atlantic Records, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will include 34 original tracks. It is scheduled for November 19, 2026, the same date planned for the game’s release. The album will allow listeners to enjoy part of Leonida’s musical world outside the game.

There is an important distinction between the two announcements. The six stations are only a preview of the GTA 6 radio stations, while the 34 tracks belong to the official album. The album’s track count does not establish how many songs will be available on the radio.

With its stations, celebrity hosts, and podcasts, Rockstar is showing how music will help shape the experience of exploring Vice City and Leonida. The full programming lineup, and how these features will fit into Jason and Lucia’s daily adventures, remains to be seen.
