Karmine Corp: 🔵 The Complete Guide to France’s Biggest Esports Organization ⚡

6 min

Karmine Corp is the most culturally significant esports organization in France and one of the most recognized in all of Europe. Known universally as the Blue Wall for the intensity and scale of their fanbase, KC competes across multiple titles, built a community that fills arenas, and in July 2026 reached the Grand Final of the Esports World Cup League of Legends tournament on home soil in Paris, producing one of the most electric atmospheres in the history of European competitive gaming.

This is the full story of who Karmine Corp is, how they were built, what makes them different, and where they stand in 2026.

Origins: Founded by a Streamer in 2020

Karmine Corp was originally founded by Kamel “Kameto” Kebir on March 30, 2020.

The organization was created by popular streamers Kamel “Kameto” Kebir and Amine “Prime” Mekri, initially as Kameto Corp before rebranding.

The origin matters for understanding what KC is. This was not a traditional esports venture built by investors or gaming industry executives. It was created by one of the most recognizable French-speaking League of Legends streamers, with an existing community that followed the game deeply and identified with Kameto’s personality and approach to the game.

Karmine Corp rebranded from the name Kameto Corp after qualifying for the LFL, the League of Legends French League, from the second division.

The rebranding marked the beginning of KC’s transformation from a content creator project into a genuine competitive organization.

The Blue Wall: Building Europe’s Most Passionate Fanbase

The Blue Wall is not just a nickname. It is a defined movement.

This movement was formalized as a non-profit association under French law to unite fans across all Karmine Corp divisions, organizing viewing parties, travel to tournaments, and creative elements like chants and tifos. The Blue Wall demonstrated its scale by selling out the 12,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris for the 2022 Karmine Corp Day event.

Merchandise lines, launched on March 31, 2021, have become a key revenue driver, with estimates of over 40,000 jerseys sold by 2023.

The all-time Karmine Corp viewership record is 1,332,274 peak viewers, set at the Esports World Cup 2026.

That last figure is the most telling. An European League of Legends team generating over 1.3 million peak concurrent viewers at an international tournament is a number that reflects something far beyond the game itself. KC has built a fanbase that treats their matches as cultural events.

League of Legends: The Foundation

League of Legends is where KC was built and where they have achieved their most significant results.

The team acquired a brand new roster that quickly rose to recognition, consistently finishing at the top of the LFL.

Their rise through French and then European competition was rapid. The organization spent several years dominating the French domestic league before stepping into the LEC.

On October 19, 2023, the team purchased Astralis’ seed rights and began participating in the LEC from the 2024 season. In the 2024 season they did not stand out, finishing last twice in a row in the winter and spring, but due to a roster change in the summer, they caused an upset where the 10th place team from the previous season achieved 4th place. Then, in the 2025 LEC Winter, they shut out G2 3-0, recording their first major league championship since founding.

The first LEC title in 2025 LEC Winter was a watershed moment: it confirmed that KC could compete at the top level of the most competitive LoL region in Europe, not just dominate the domestic French league.

2026 Season: A Year of Two Extremes

Entering the 2026 season, KC made targeted roster changes. Vladi was replaced in the mid lane by Kyeahoo, and Karmine Corp recruited Busio to take over the support role, completing the team’s offseason rebuild.

Entering the 2026 LEC Winter Split, KC were widely considered strong contenders for the title, though generally placed just behind G2 Esports and Movistar KOI.

The 2026 season produced a sharp contrast. At the Mid-Season Invitational 2026, KC struggled, failing to advance from the Play-In Stage and drawing sharp criticism from their own fanbase. It was one of the lowest points of the organization’s competitive history. Weeks later, at the Esports World Cup in Paris, the same roster would reach an international Grand Final.

EWC 2026: The Paris Final

Karmine Corp redeemed an abysmal showing at the Mid-Season Invitational 2026 in Daejeon and convincingly outperformed European rivals on the way to the final.

KC’s run at EWC 2026 eliminated AG.AL and then T1 in the semifinals, the latter in front of a Paris crowd that produced some of the loudest moments in recent international LoL. Reaching the Grand Final as the home team at the most prominent international LoL event of the mid-season period was the culmination of everything KC had built with the Blue Wall since 2020.

In the final, Karmine Corp was backed by a deafening Paris crowd, while Dplus KIA was met with boos as the players entered the arena.

The result was a 3-0 loss to Dplus KIA. DK played at a level that would have beaten most opponents regardless of the conditions. KC left Paris as runner-up with 750 Club Championship points, a record all-time viewership number, and a fanbase that responded to the performance with pride rather than disappointment.

Multi-Title Presence

League of Legends is KC’s flagship division, but the organization competes across multiple titles:

Karmine Corp competes in League of Legends, TrackMania, Teamfight Tactics, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Valorant, and Rocket League.

The Rocket League roster has been one of KC’s more consistent multi-title presences, competing in the RLCS European circuit. The Valorant division participated in VCT EMEA as a partner team before changes to that program.

Ownership and Corporate Structure

Kamel “Kameto” Kebir serves as President of the organization. Partners include Chupa Chups, Direct Assurance, Logitech, Michelin, Red Bull, RhinoShield, Samsung Odyssey, and ekWateur.

When acquiring the LEC seed rights, Astralis created a subsidiary called AK-Game SAS and Karmine Corp took the seed rights by acquiring 66.67% of AK-Game SAS shares.

What Makes Karmine Corp Different

Every esports organization has a roster and a logo. Very few have what KC has built in six years: a fanbase with enough organizational identity to fill a 12,000-seat arena for an internal event, set an all-time European LoL viewership record at an international tournament, and create the most hostile environment a visiting Korean team has faced at a LoL Grand Final in recent memory.

That combination of competitive credibility and community scale is what makes KC the reference point for how a European esports organization can grow from a streamer’s side project into an institution.
