Overwatch Season 4 — Heroes of Busan — is the most cosmetically loaded patch of 2026. Two Mythic-tier unlocks in a single season, seven Legendary skins across the Battle Pass, two new shop collections launching August 11 to 30, World Cup regional skins, and a third LE SSERAFIM K-pop collaboration on the way. This guide covers every confirmed skin, how to get each one, and when the remaining content arrives during the season.

Mythic Skins: Genji and Sojourn

Genji — Duality of Koi (Mythic Hero Skin)

The headliners are a new Mythic hero skin for Genji and a new Mythic weapon for Sojourn, both funded with Mythic Prisms. Genji picks up his second Mythic skin, years after he received the very first one in Overwatch 2.

Genji is receiving his second Mythic skin. The new Duality of Koi Mythic skin is centered on the concept of balance and yin-yang aesthetics, making it a visual highlight of Season 4.

The Duality of Koi skin features a black-and-white yin-yang aesthetic applied to Genji's entire character model, his blades, his movement animations, and his ability effects. The two halves of the skin represent opposing forces: one side carries light koi imagery and the other dark koi, with the themes shifting during different ability activations.

How to get it: Spend Mythic Prisms in the Mythic shop. Prisms are earned through Battle Pass progression (up to 80 Prisms available per Premium pass). The skin has multiple style variations that unlock as you invest more Prisms.

Sojourn — Eternal Crystal (Mythic Weapon Skin)

Sojourn already has a Mythic hero skin, but this is her first Mythic weapon skin. The Eternal Crystal is a new Mythic weapon skin for Sojourn's railgun.

The Eternal Crystal replaces Sojourn's standard railgun visual with a crystal-energy aesthetic. The weapon skin applies to the railgun in both its standard fire and charged shot modes, with distinct particle effects on the charged shot beam.

How to get it: Spend Mythic Prisms in the Mythic shop. The weapon skin is a separate item from her existing Mythic hero skin, meaning players who already own her hero Mythic can purchase the weapon Mythic independently.

Season 4 Mythic priority: Two Mythic items in one season means players need to decide which to prioritize with their Prisms. Completing the full Premium Battle Pass gives 80 Prisms. The Genji Duality of Koi skin requires more Prisms to fully unlock all style variations than the Sojourn weapon skin does. If you have both Prism totals, get Genji first. If you have to choose one, the Genji Mythic is the higher-profile cosmetic with more visual variations.

Battle Pass Skins: All 7 Legendaries

The Season 4 Battle Pass carries seven Legendary skins. The Premium Battle Pass includes five Legendary skins, and the Ultimate Battle Pass adds two exclusive Legendaries on top.

Introductory Track (Free and Premium)

Cyber Mechanic D.Va (Legendary) — earned by completing the Introductory Track before selecting your reward paths. Available to all players regardless of Battle Pass tier. The skin reimagines D.Va in a mechanic workshop aesthetic with tool-belt accessories and oil-stained detailing that fits the Busan setting.

Premium Battle Pass Reward Tracks

Light up the streets in the Premium Battle Pass with Legendary Cyber Chic Moira, Cyber Champ Brigitte, Cyber Cowboy Cassidy, Cyber Mechanic D.Va, and Cyber Raptor Pharah.

The Cyber collection is this season's cohesive Battle Pass theme, connecting the South Korean tech-forward aesthetic with the MEKA Squad storyline.

Ultimate Battle Pass Exclusives

The Ultimate Battle Pass includes Divine Demon D.Mon and Metalcore Junker Queen Legendary skins, plus 20 Battle Pass Tier Skips, 2000 Overwatch Coins, and more.

Divine Demon D.Mon (Legendary) — the season's most exclusive skin. D.Mon rendered in a demonic deity aesthetic with red-and-black armor, flame particle effects on the Plasma Saber, and a fully altered mech surface design for Beast. Only available through the Ultimate Battle Pass. Cannot be purchased separately in the shop.

Metalcore Junker Queen (Legendary) — heavy metal aesthetic on Junker Queen with spiked armoring, studded texture work, and altered weapon visuals. Also exclusive to the Ultimate tier.

Epic Skins in the Battle Pass

The Battle Pass also includes three Epic skins alongside the Legendary rewards.

The three Epic skins have not been fully named in confirmed sources as of August 11, but they are distributed across the five reward tracks and serve as the non-Legendary completion rewards for some of the shorter tracks.

Shop Skin Collections

Two full collections launch at the start of Season 4 and run through August 30:

Fleece and Fangs Collection (August 11 to 30)

A Fleece and Fangs skin collection features fluffy skins for Juno, Mei, and Hanzo, and sharper skins for Reaper, Vendetta, and Mercy.

The collection is split into two aesthetics:

"Fleece" side (soft, wool-and-fur animal designs):

  • Juno — fluffy animal-themed armor
  • Mei — cozy wool aesthetic
  • Hanzo — soft-textured bow-hunter design

"Fangs" side (predator-sharp designs):

  • Reaper — razor-edged dark predator
  • Vendetta — sharp villain aesthetic (Vendetta is the season's main antagonist)
  • Mercy — contrasting angelic-predator design

Young Gods Collection (August 11 to 30)

A series of Young Gods cosmetics is coming to the in-game shop for Kiriko, Jetpack Cat, Wuyang, Freja, and Doomfist, themed after cultural mythologies.

God motifs, regal textures, and one absurd Jetpack Cat entry. The roster here includes Doomfist, Kiriko, Jetpack Cat, Wuyang, and Freja.

The Young Gods collection reimagines Overwatch heroes as deities reborn into the modern era, blending traditional religious iconography with contemporary streetwear. The Jetpack Cat inclusion in particular has drawn attention as the most unexpected entry in a deity-themed collection.

How to get shop skins: Shop collections are purchased directly with Overwatch Coins. Prices are not officially confirmed at time of writing but follow the standard Epic (600 Coins) and Legendary (1,900 Coins) pricing tiers.

World Cup Skins

Season 4 includes Overwatch World Cup rewards with regional skins. Regional skins include Venture and Illari for AMER, Freja and Hazard for EMEA, and Wuyang and Juno for ASIA.

World Cup skins are earned through the World Cup Cheer Rally event running September 1 to 14. Supporting your region during the event unlocks the regional hero skins. These are free cosmetics tied to the competitive season's narrative, not purchasable items.

LE SSERAFIM Collaboration (Coming Midseason)

The Season 4 trailer teased an all-new LE SSERAFIM collab, marking the third time Blizzard has partnered with the K-pop group for Overwatch cosmetics. LE SSERAFIM is slated to perform at BlizzCon 2026 on September 13, so this crossover is expected around the midseason update. Previous skins from earlier LE SSERAFIM collaborations may also return to the shop for players who missed out.

The Heroes of Busan season's South Korean theme makes the LE SSERAFIM collaboration thematically consistent with the season's entire identity. The specific heroes receiving LE SSERAFIM skins have not been officially announced as of August 11.

When to expect it: September 13 (BlizzCon 2026) or shortly after, as a midseason shop drop.

Shooting Star: My MEKA Mania Event (August 11 to 31)

Meka Mania runs from August 11 to 31, 2026, as the Season 4 lore event.

The MEKA Mania event has its own reward track with exclusive cosmetics tied to the lore. These are earned through event-specific challenges and gameplay during the event window, separate from the Battle Pass. They are not purchasable through the shop.

Which Skins Are Worth It?

Best value free skin: Cyber Mechanic D.Va from the Introductory Track. Available to every player, no purchase required, and one of the season's most thematically coherent cosmetics given the Busan setting.

Best Battle Pass skin: Cyber Chic Moira. The high-fashion cyberpunk aesthetic is the most distinctive in the Cyber collection and applies to a hero with one of the highest play rates at all skill levels.

Best Mythic: Genji's Duality of Koi for players with deep Genji investment. The yin-yang theme is the most visually unique Mythic released in 2026 and carries multiple unlockable style variations. The Sojourn Eternal Crystal weapon skin is the better choice if you only have Prisms for one and primarily play Sojourn.

Most exclusive: Divine Demon D.Mon. Only obtainable through the Ultimate Battle Pass. No shop purchase option. Players who want the Day 1 premium D.Mon look have no alternative path.

Best shop collection: Fleece and Fangs for its thematic contrast between the soft and sharp sides. The Vendetta skin is particularly notable as a cosmetic for the season's primary antagonist.

Play Overwatch Season 4 with ExitLag

New skin collections drive the highest concurrent player counts of any point in a season's lifecycle, which means launch-week server loads are at their peak exactly when you want to be playing. Cosmetics are displayed in-game and their visual complexity at the Mythic tier (Duality of Koi's particle effects and style variations) can stress GPU resources. What they cannot fix is routing: connection instability during peak seasons affects ranked matches where those skins are being debuted.

ExitLag is a connection optimizer used by over 30 million players across 4,000+ game titles including Overwatch.

Pro Tips: Season 4 Cosmetics

  • Save Prisms strategically: 80 Prisms from the full Premium pass is enough to fully unlock one Mythic and make partial progress on the second. If you want both the Genji Mythic and Sojourn weapon skin at their base tiers, the math works. If you want all style variations of both, you will need more Prisms than one pass provides.
  • Buy Fleece and Fangs early: shop collections run August 11 to 30. Missing the window means waiting for a potential re-release that Blizzard does not guarantee. The Unvaulted Passes system returning old Battle Pass content does not include shop collection items.
  • Watch official channels after BlizzCon September 13: the LE SSERAFIM collab has not been officially detailed yet. Following @PlayOverwatch and the official Discord ensures you do not miss the announcement window, especially if there is a limited pre-order or early access element to the collab skins.
