Aion 2 Early Access begins September 30, 2026. Players who purchase any tier of Founder’s Pack gain five days on dedicated Early Access Servers before the global free-to-play launch opens to everyone. This is not a beta: progress made during Early Access carries forward permanently into the full game.

All three tiers grant the same Early Access start date. The difference between tiers is cosmetic content and bonus items, not the duration or quality of Early Access itself.
Two Server Waves
When Early Access begins, NC opens the first wave of world servers: Early Access Servers for Founder’s Pack holders only. At the global launch, a second wave of Launch Servers opens to all players. Players without a Founder’s Pack can join Early Access Servers if they remain open and available.
Elyos and Asmodian servers remain separated throughout. The two factions only meet in the Abyss for PvP.
Dungeon Matching During Early Access
Party matching for dungeons is region-wide from day one. During Early Access, you match with players across all Early Access Servers in your region, not just your specific server. This means finding dungeon groups is never limited to a single server’s population.
Abyss PvP Rules During Early Access
During the 5-day Early Access period, Abyss matchmaking occurs between Early Access Servers only. Launch Server players are not part of the Abyss pool during this window. After the global launch, NC matches servers based on progression level rather than simply mixing all players together, protecting newer servers from facing 5-day-advantage opponents immediately.
Markets During Early Access
- Server Market (local Kina trading): Available from day one of Early Access
- Cross-Server Market (region-wide trading): Not available during Early Access. Opens post-launch when servers reach similar progression stages
What to Do on Day One of Early Access
- Log in immediately at your region’s launch time to secure your character name
- Select your faction (Elyos or Asmodian) carefully: this determines your server and faction war allegiance
- Choose your class based on your planned role in guilds and the Abyss
- Begin the main quest chain to level efficiently during the uncrowded early hours
- Join a guild as early as possible: Early Access is when the best guilds recruit their founding members
