Agent’s Lore
After losing his parents in a robbery and being separated from his sister as a child, he devoted himself to vengeance and underwent grueling training to become a secret agent of the Federation. Later, Marni offered to guarantee his sister’s survival in exchange for his participation in an experiment, making him the first test subject of Marni’s Interdimensional Transfer. Will he find his sister in Black Desert and return home?
The “sister” in Agent’s lore is Deadeye (Olivia Canary), the existing Black Desert class. Their story is directly connected: Eddie’s path into the Black Desert world is tied to Marni’s experiment, and finding Olivia is the driving motivation behind his presence on the continent.
Agent’s Combat Identity
Agent is built around a distinctly different combat identity from Deadeye: slower, harder-hitting shots, grenade use, and a special weapon called the Hexround that substitutes area damage for the magic-based toolkit most classes lean on. Pearl Abyss described the design intent as controlled area dominance rather than Deadeye’s run-and-gun aggression.
Agent’s combat philosophy in three principles:
1. One shot, one opportunity: Every Revolver shot carries more individual impact than any other gun class in Black Desert. The ammunition is designed with an exaggerated profile to give each bullet more AoE coverage, replacing the magic damage that other classes use for area attacks.
2. The Hexround as battlefield control: The Hexround is not a passive companion. It responds to Agent’s actions, provides offensive support, calculates efficient engagement angles, and can warp space-time to strike enemies from behind. It chains with Revolver skills to create combo sequences that neither weapon could produce alone.
3. Skirmisher group identity: As a Skirmisher, Agent is positioned in the class tier alongside other precision-focused fighters. The Skirmisher class group designation means Agent shares certain universal class mechanic benefits with other Skirmisher heroes.
Agent’s Key Skills
Revolver (Primary): Heavy-caliber firearm with slower fire rate than Deadeye’s. AoE ammunition replaces magic for area coverage.
Hexround (Secondary weapon): Unique active weapon that tracks enemies, supports offensive play, and enables Revolver-Hexround skill chains. Distorts space-time to create positional advantages.
Grenades: Explosive area damage filling the toolkit’s burst option.
Blink: Space-time teleportation for infiltration and rapid repositioning. Core mobility tool.
Reaper’s Mercy: Finishing strike on downed enemies.
Bulletstorm: Shared skill echo with Deadeye — both siblings fire a massive AoE bullet storm, connecting their kits narratively and mechanically.
Mozambique Drill: Modern combat technique, rapid precision strikes.

Agent’s combat depends on the Hexround chain timing and Blink’s space-time positioning. These mechanics require your inputs to reach Pearl Abyss’s servers within precise timing windows. Latency that delays the Hexround chain trigger or the Blink landing position costs you the combo opportunity that Agent’s kit is designed around.
