Brawl Stars Scary Coffins is the second phase of Brawl-O-Ween, and it works nothing like a normal event. There’s no grind to finish and no tier to climb. The whole community votes, one coffin opens, and everybody gets the same prize.
Since October 15, 24 coffins have sat on that lobby screen, and only 12 will ever open. That makes every daily vote count for more than it looks, and it makes Brawl Stars Scary Coffins a fight over a limited prize pool.
So what is it, in plain terms? Each day you finish quests to push a shared community goal, cast one vote for a numbered coffin, and the winner opens at 08:00 UTC per community trackers. The prize goes to every player, and you claim it for free from the Brawl-O-Ween section of the Shop.

Brawl Stars Scary Coffins: How The Event Works
Scary Coffins runs from October 15 to 26. Before it came Find Gus, the puzzle phase, and after it come the Creator Event (October 26 to 29) and The Last Coffin (October 29 to November 5), all based on tracker schedules.
Supercell hasn’t published full rules for every later phase yet. Trust the in-game timer over any fan calendar, ours included.
What Does The Daily Loop Look Like?
The loop is short, and you can do it in the lobby without leaving for a match.
- Open the #ScaryCoffins button in the lobby.
- Finish your daily quests to feed the shared goal of 100 million tasks.
- Vote for one coffin by the number printed on its lid.
- Come back after 08:00 UTC and claim the free offer from the Shop.
Votes can’t be changed once cast, according to players. So decide before you tap.
Why Do The Coffins Keep Moving?
They shuffle each time you open the event screen. Position means nothing, and the number on the lid is the only thing that stays fixed.
We’ve watched players burn a vote on the wrong coffin this way. If you vote from muscle memory, you’ll vote wrong.
How Many Coffins Actually Open?
Twelve of 24. One opens per day through October 25, with two on October 26. The other 12 rewards are never handed out, though Supercell is expected to post reveal videos for all 24 after the event.
Scary Coffin Brawl Stars Rewards: The 24 Prizes
Supercell’s announced pool mixes permanent items, resources and one-day modes. Tier labels below are community reads, not Supercell’s.
| Group | Rewards
|
|---|---|
| Top | Ultra Chaos Drop, Gravestone Griff skin, random Buffie, Vince event early + 2 Vince Boxes |
| Great | Ultra Trophy Box, Coffin Box, 10 Starr Drops, 5 Chaos Drops, 15 Gems |
| Good | 3 Chaos Drops, 1,000 Coins, 500 Coins, 500 Power Points, 500 Credits, 1,000 Bling |
| Fun | Crow Boss Battle, Kizu Kenji Boss Battle, Prop Hunt for a day, Melodie’s hidden tattoo reveal |
| Small or trap | Player Icon, 1 XP Doubler, 2 Credits, 7 Coins, 1 Gem |
Some coffins open a mode instead of an item, so their button reads PLAY or VIEW instead of SHOP.
What Has Opened So Far?
Seven coffins are open as of October 23: the Player Icon (coffin 1), 1,000 Bling (8), an Ultra Trophy Box (17), the Vince event (10), 5 Chaos Drops (2), 500 Credits (7) and a random Buffie (12). A few of these come from player reports rather than official footage.
Today’s reveal wasn’t confirmed when we checked. That leaves five openings.
Is The Coffin Box Worth Chasing?
It depends on what you own. A Coffin Box holds 10 rewards with at least one premium item, but the premium slice is small.
- Per Supercell’s drop table as relayed by trackers, the common items are Coins, Power Points, XP Doublers and Bling.
- The premium pool includes the Brawl-O-Ween skin, 1,000 Coins, 10 Gems, a random Buffie and a random Hypercharge.
- If a roll gives you something you own, it’s swapped for Bling, Coins or Credits.
We’d treat a box as a nice bonus, not a reason to change your vote.
Brawl Stars Coffins: Voting Strategy
There’s no answer key until a coffin opens, so every pick is a read of community theory. Even so, some picks have clear logic.
Which Coffin Should You Vote For?
Players generally rank the Buffie, the Ultra Chaos Drop and the Gravestone Griff skin as the strongest. Since coffin 12 already held a Buffie, other Buffie guesses are weaker now. Coffin 4 (Coffin Box) and coffin 24 (Crow Boss Battle) draw a lot of confident guesses, though none are confirmed.
Be careful with coffin 18. Most trackers call it the 7 Coins trap.
Does Your Vote Pick Your Own Reward?
No. It chooses what the whole community gets. Your personal bonus comes from the prediction board, where a correct guess earns a Chaos Drop. We cover that board in more depth in a separate guide on coffin predictions, so we’ll skip the long version.
Quick version: fill all 24 squares and clear anything that already opened.
Pro Tips: Brawl Stars Scary Coffins
- Vote with your club: One organized group beats a scattered crowd, so coordinate on a good coffin and avoid the trap.
- Read the number, not the position: The coffins reshuffle, and a wrong tap wastes the day.
- Claim from the Shop quickly: Some players had to restart the game before Vince Boxes appeared, so claim early.
- Predict honestly: Predictions pay you personally, unlike votes, so fill every square.
- Check the in-game timer: Cutoffs and phase dates are fan-sourced, so the countdown wins any argument.
Are Brawl Stars Scary Coffins Codes Real?
No. Rewards only come from the in-game community vote, and no code, QR or link grants a Gravestone Griff, a Buffie or Vince Boxes. Sites asking for your Supercell ID in return for them are scams.
Supercell’s own safe and fair play page is the place to read about protecting your account.
How Do You Spot A Scam Offer?
Look for these red flags before you tap anything:
- A site asks for your Supercell ID, password or email code.
- Any “generator” that promises a skin or Buffie for free.
- Videos claim a secret coffin number that pays out to a single player.
Anything free that is real is in the Shop, labeled under Brawl-O-Ween.
Common Mistakes Scary Coffin Players Make
- Voting by position: The coffins reshuffle. Fix: read the printed number every time.
- Voting for a trap: One bad coffin costs everyone a prize for a day. Fix: use club chat and stick to a likely strong coffin.
- Forgetting the quests: The vote only opens through the shared goal. Fix: do your daily tasks before the reset.
- Trusting a leaked coffin map: Nothing is confirmed until the lid opens. Fix: treat every map as a theory.

Brawl Stars Coffin: Do Quest Matches Need A Good Connection?
Quests push the shared goal, and many are match-based. A lag spike in a Gem Grab or Showdown match can cost you a quest run, and the quest is what feeds the vote.
That’s the part most guides skip. If you’re short on a daily task and your Wi-Fi is on its last bar, a disconnected match is a lost attempt.
Why Does Brawl Stars Lag On Mobile?
Cellular handoffs, crowded Wi-Fi and distant routes to the game servers are the usual suspects. Our look at the ExitLag tool and what it changes covers the PC and mobile side.
For gameplay itself, a Brawler tier list tells you which picks win quest matches quicker, and our Angelo guide is a decent hit-and-run option.
How Does ExitLag Fit In?
ExitLag is a connection optimizer for games, not a VPN. It checks several network paths in real time and picks the fastest, most stable route to the game server, with Multipath sending packets through more than one route at once.
Your game files stay untouched, and non-game apps are left alone. On mobile data, you’d feel it as fewer rubber-banding brawlers and fewer dropped matches mid-quest.
Install ExitLag for Android or ExitLag for iOS and keep your VPN off while it runs.
Brawl Stars Scary Coffins: What To Do Before It Ends
The event closes on October 26, so you have a few days left. Finish your quests, vote by number and pick the prize your whole club agrees on.
Players searching for scary coffins Brawl Stars or a Scary Coffin Brawl Stars shortcut will find the same answer: there isn’t one. The best edge in Brawl Stars Scary Coffins is a steady routine and a stable connection.
What Should You Do On The Final Day?
Two coffins open on October 26. Vote early and double-check the number on the lid, because a second coffin means a second chance to land something good.
What Happens To Unopened Coffins?
They stay shut in the game, but Supercell is expected to post reveal videos after the event. The unopened prizes aren’t handed out.
