Call of Duty: Warzone, become an army of one man!
As a multiplayer game in Call of Duty: Warzone, it is an electronic game with cross-platform gameplay. Developed by Infinity Ward and Raven Software, it runs on various platforms, including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is free-to-play and allows for battles with an average of 150 players.
The storyline gameplay involves users parachuting onto a large in-game map set in the fictional city of Verdansk, which is an interpretation of what the city of Donetsk, located in eastern Ukraine, might look like.
After the jump, players encounter other users, and as they eliminate each other, the map shrinks, forcing players to face off in tighter spaces until only one winner remains. This showcases which team possesses more skills with weapons, close combat, strategies, among other abilities.
FPS game and requires a range of senses and motor skills; to become the best, you must think like a true soldier. Whether you’re an engineer setting bombs for demolition or a sniper eliminating targets from miles away to provide cover for your team.
How can I play Call of Duty Warzone?
There’s no secret to playing Call of Duty Warzone, all you have to do is decide which platform you want to play on, be it PlayStation, Xbox, or PC. Download the game and create a session if you haven’t already, or log in.
Once you’ve started the game, select Warzone from the main menu. Choose your preferred game mode, either Battle Royale or Plunder, as well as having the option to play alone, as a duo or as a team.
That’s it! Now you start the game by parachuting onto the map with other players, where you look for weapons and equipment to survive.
Remember that the objective may vary depending on the game mode you choose.
How can I create a COD Warzone account?
The game itself does not have a platform for login; instead, users need to create an account with Activision. To do this, you’ll need a valid email address to receive game information and generate an ID for connecting to matches.
Battle Royale
In this mode, 50 teams of three members each are dropped into a large map called Verdansky, where they fight each other.
As the cycle closes in, forcing players into a smaller map and facing each other. Thus, the last surviving squad wins the match. Since the game features crossplay, it can be played across various platforms, whether it’s PlayStation, Xbox, or even on PC.
Plunder
In this mode, the focus is on accumulating more money. Also the squad that accumulates 1 million becomes the winner. Each match lasts an average of 30 minutes. Unlike the previous mode, players can respawn indefinitely and can respawn with their own loadouts.
Players accumulate money by opening supply boxes, completing missions, and eliminating other users, who lose a percentage of their money when they die. Cash drops worth $100,000 can appear around the map.
However, be vigilant, as the team with the highest amount of money is marked with a red crown, indicating they are closer to winning the match. Thus, while you may win the match, you become a target.
To avoid losing money, players can deposit it using a cash balloon found in supply boxes or purchased at buy stations. These balloons allow users to store up to $150,000. Alternatively, they can call in a deposit helicopter where they can deposit all their money.
Calls to this helicopter are made at specific points on the map, but other users are notified, and the point becomes highlighted on the map.
Gulag
It’s a second chance mechanic, where if you die but your team remains in the game, you’re transported to another arena, Zordaya Prison Complex, and pitted against other players who also lost the match.
If you win, you return to the match, where you’re redeployed by plane and given another chance to enter the open map; otherwise, you die permanently and can only enter another match.
Maps in Call Of Duty: Warzone!
As the game features a platform capable of supporting over a hundred players simultaneously and boasts large maps, it currently offers two major maps: Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
Take a look at each map!
COD: Verdansk
Set in a fictional country related to the city of Kastovia and the nation of Verdansk, this map was the game’s first map and is known for its vastness.
It consists of twenty-eight stations across east, west, north, southwest, center, and south zones. The architecture is based on the city of Donetsk in Ukraine, specifically around the stadium and the Donbass Arena airport.
COD: Rebirth Island
Symbolizing a remaster of Alcatraz, this map is smaller than Verdansk and is more focused on direct confrontations. It features 32 stations and supports 40 players.
COD: Bunker
Everyone remembers the wartime bunkers from history class—structures made of iron and concrete, located underground with the purpose of protecting people and storing food in case of a nuclear attack. In the game, these structures serve as loot hotspots, containing customized packages with weapons and various other items.
Some of these packages contain keycards that open bunkers filled with prizes, including epic and legendary items. As a result, these locations are often contested by players seeking rewards.

Best Advantages in Call of Duty Warzone
Like in any game, there are specific combinations that, when used together, provide greater efficiency to players during matches.
However, to obtain these advantages, customized equipment is necessary. To acquire this gear, one must purchase it at a buy station after accumulating $10,000.
Advantage – Ghost or Specter
Unlocked at level 24, this is one of the most useful in Battle Royale and Plunder modes. The user becomes undetectable by sensors and drones, and immune to grenades.
This advantage is most effective when combined with weapons equipped with suppressors, allowing players to eliminate opponents without revealing their position. It can be combined with other advantages such as Evasive, Cold-Blooded, Observer, and Tracker.
Advantage – Evasive
Unlocked at level one, this advantage increases the user’s movement speed, doubling it, and allowing them to move 30% faster when crouched, making them quieter. It is useful for both offense and defense and can be combined with Observer and Red Alert.
Advantage – Opportunist
This advantage allows players to pick up ammunition from other dead players, including those from their own team who were not saved in time. Unlocked at level 18, it can be used in conjunction with other advantages such as Refill, Shrapnel, Specter, and Tenacious.
Advantage – Tracker
Unlocked at level 51, this advantage allows players to hide their tracks when killing an enemy and view the enemy’s tracks as footprints, making it useful for tracking and surprising opponents. It can be combined with other advantages such as Evasive, Specter, Red Alert, and Cold-Blooded.
Advantage – Tenacious
Ideal for players who prefer to play in teams, this advantage allows them to revive partners 25% faster than usual. It can be combined with other advantages such as E.O.D., Quick Regeneration, Evasive, and Tenacious.
Dead Silence
This advantage allows players to move silently throughout the map without making noise, becoming akin to a ninja. However, it is detected by the Alert advantage.
Alert
Ideal for elite marksmen, this advantage allows players to react more quickly to enemy attacks, even when the enemy uses Dead Silence.
Scavenger
The better the player, the longer they will last in matches, but they will need to replenish their ammunition more frequently.
Agile
This advantage increases aiming speed, completely changing the player’s perspective of the game.
Operator Abilities
These are bonus equipment unlocked only during multiplayer matches, but they are not available from the start and come in a variety, as they are based on the player’s level. However, you need to perform well in the match to unlock them.
The weapons range from flamethrowers, machine guns, shields, energy weapons, and much more.
Perks like demolition specialists, launcher engineers, are specific advantages where the player has to alter their playstyle.
Ranks Call Of Duty Warzone
Like any game, there is a ranking system where players have ranks based on their level of excellence in battles and continue to level up. Here is no different, with players having a total of 55 ranks.
From level 56 onwards, the player is considered an Officer and can go up to level 155, becoming a five-star general. As players level up, they gain access to more equipment in the game to improve their performance. However, ranks do not reset at the end of the season, but users keep all acquired items.
The initial ranks range from:
- Private
- Private First Class
- Specialist
- Corporal
- Sergeant
- Staff Sergeant
- Sergeant Third Class
- Sergeant Master
- Second Sergeant
- Sublieutenant
- Officer Candidate
Each of the above ranks has about five subdivisions, such as the rank of Sublieutenant to Officer Candidate, which includes:
- Sublieutenant I
- Sublieutenant II
- Sublieutenant III
- Sublieutenant IV
- Sublieutenant V
Money
Money is a novelty, as it can be obtained in various locations within the arena, including Buy Stations, which are fixed points where users can buy weapons and various equipment. Keep an eye out for promotions, as prices are random and vary frequently.
One piece of advice is to always invest in protection; buy an item called Armor Plate Bundle, a kit with various protective items that will increase your resistance in matches. The item costs around 1,500 in-game money.
What are contracts in Call of Duty?
Always scattered throughout the map, contracts give you a new mission to complete where the rewards are the best, ranging from money, weapons, experience, to season passes, among others.
Missions can vary from objectives like killing a specific enemy to opening a certain item.
How to Stand Out in the Game Overall
Like any platform, there are certain pieces of information that can keep you alive in various situations, and here it’s no different. There are skills or decisions you can make that will make you stand out among the rest.
Avoid Gas
Though it may seem ridiculous due to the low impact gas has on the user in Warzone, it can kill you in as little as 30 seconds, not to mention damaging your armor.
While you can minimize the effects of gas with a gas mask, even with the mask, your armor will be damaged, so plan your route and expose yourself to gas as little as possible.
In-Game Money
There is a lot of money in the game, which players can use to buy various items such as weapons, customizations, and bring back their teammates, among others. Customized equipment is more advantageous as they come with Perks.
Parachuting
Freefalling is much faster and does not allow for complete mobility, so it’s advisable to open your parachute and redeploy it if necessary. This action creates instant speed, which is useful for escaping.
Mines
Many players dislike using them due to their dynamics, but for a strategic team, they are ideal as they can offer a random death without spending ammunition. They can also reveal the enemy team’s location, allowing you to anticipate attacks.
Vehicles
As the map accommodates 150 players, a vehicle is crucial for moving quickly, escaping enemies, or evading gas. Vehicles allow you to heal, shoot, and move. However, if you want something faster, there are always helicopters where you can fly and parachute to your desired location.
Choosing Contracts
Contracts act as mini-missions and can be divided into three categories: Scavenger, Bounties, and Recon. Recon contracts are the most advantageous as they allow you to see the next Warzone zone, so completing more contracts of this type will advance the zone smoothing.
Reviving
Whenever you down an enemy, they can be revived by teammates or with a kit they possessed. If this happens, a specific sound will be emitted. If you hear this sound, don’t attack without planning.
Plunder Mode
This mode is ideal for those unfamiliar with the game, as it’s easier to train your skills without the lethal gas. You can explore the map freely, respawn when downed, earn XP, and face real players.
Triple UAV
If your group of three activates three UAVs at the same time, you can discover the location of all enemy players on the map, aiding in your strategy. This equipment is expensive and should only be used in the final circuits of the map.
Skins Call of Duty Warzone
After choosing your character, you can select customized outfits to play with, including skins for different occasions, such as when you eliminate an opponent, allowing you to personalize the battle.
Skins in CoD Warzone are visual customizations for weapons, characters, and vehicles. They can be acquired through various means such as in-game purchases, seasonal challenges, or additional content packs. Skins allow players to customize their equipment according to their personal style, adding aesthetic variety to the game.
