Midnight Carp is loved by Linus, making it one of the easiest loved gifts for him since he lives near the Mountain Lake and his preferred fish spawns in the same water. His birthday is Winter 3, and a Midnight Carp on that day provides maximum friendship points.

Midnight Carp also sells for more than regular Carp (150g base compared to 30g for regular Carp) and can be placed in a Fish Pond where it produces Roe and eventually unlocks unique items from the pond quests.

Where to Catch Scorpion Carp

Scorpion Carp is the hardest of the three Carp variants, found exclusively in the Calico Desert. It is available in any season during all hours of the day, but requires reaching the Desert via the Bus Route — which in turn requires completing the Vault Bundles in the Community Center or equivalent Joja route.

Carp Uses and Community Center Bundle

Lake Fish Bundle

Regular Carp is required for the Lake Fish Bundle in the Community Center’s Fish Tank room. The Lake Fish Bundle requires:

• Carp

Completing the Lake Fish Bundle contributes toward the Fish Tank room completion, which rewards the Glittering Boulder removal, the Copper Pan, and Bait.
