The Bo5 series was more balanced than the final score suggests. Each map was a tense battlefield, decided by details. FURIA opened the series by winning Ancient 13-11. The map, which was Vitality’s pick, already signaled the deep Brazilian preparation. Resilience was the team’s hallmark.
Next up was Inferno. The map, known for being chaotic, saw FURIA maintain absolute control. With precise executions and a solid defense, the Brazilians closed the map 13-10. Vitality, pushed against the ropes, seemed to find no answers. Only one map remained for the title.

With the IEM Chengdu trophy in hand, FURIA champions of IEM Chengdu will hardly have time to celebrate. The team is already embarking to Hong Kong, where they will compete in the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2.
The debut will be on Wednesday (12) against their compatriots from paiN Gaming, at 4:30 AM (Brasília time). This will be the last commitment before the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, which for the first time will feature a Bo5 final.
