Important for Early Access: During Early Access, your access is tied to the platform where you purchased the Founder’s Pack: Steam purchases grant Early Access on Steam, and PURPLE purchases grant Early Access on PURPLE.

If your friends buy on Steam and you buy on PURPLE, your Early Access platforms are separate but you play on the same servers.

Mobile Version: Status for Global Players

The Korean and Taiwanese versions of Aion 2 launched with full mobile cross-play support on iOS and Android. The mobile version is not a stripped-down companion app: it is a full version of the game playable on mobile with the same content, progression, and cross-play with PC players.

Is Aion 2 coming to mobile globally? Currently, the global launch announced at Summer Game Fest 2026 is strictly for PC (Steam and PURPLE). While the South Korean and Taiwanese versions support mobile cross-play, NCSoft has not confirmed a mobile version for the North American or European markets at this time.

Between global PC and KR/TW: Completely separate server infrastructure. No connection between global servers and the Asian servers already running.

Between global PC and mobile (if/when mobile launches globally): The KR/TW versions have full mobile-PC cross-play. If NC adds global mobile support post-launch, cross-play between mobile and PC would likely follow the same model.
