Story of Fortnite

The storyline of the game begins with the creation of the universe, the Big Bang. An explosion generated a power source and created the zero point, a source of power that can connect all the realities that exist in the universe. This beginning gave rise to something called the zero reality, which is the current reality of the game.

This reality serves as a bridge to another parallel reality, which is why we fight monsters attacking the island trying to capture the energy of the zero point.

The platform allows for a wide range of characters from the Avengers, a franchise of Marvel heroes, to Naruto, a Japanese anime.

What is the imagined order in Fortnite?

The Imaginary Order in Fortnite is one of the secret organizations whose main objective is to travel between realities and alter the course of history to maintain the reality as we see it in the game.

However, there are groups called the Seven, which is a rival group that seeks to destroy the zero point and free everyone trapped in the loop. In simplified terms, the Sevens are the heroes and the Imaginary Order are the villains who want the world to remain as it is, promoting chaos and pain.

As the story unfolds in Fortnite, the island is invaded by various monsters, becoming the stage for epic battles.

Thus, each chapter or season of the game has a different complementary story that includes the aforementioned plot. The game is an eternal adventure with various worlds, characters, abilities, powers, magic, and much more for users to discover and be motivated by the richness of details and increasingly realistic graphics.

All Fortnite game modes

There are four game modes, each offering a different adventure to the player: Battle Royale, Party Royale, Creative Mode, and Save the World. In total, there are 13 game modes, here are the main ones:

Fortnite Battle Royale

A mode with up to 100 players, where you can play alone or in groups of two to four friends. Your team jumps from a floating bus onto an island without weapons. The goal is for you or your squad to be the last ones standing.

As the game begins in Fortnite, you start searching for weapons, shields, or any other resources that can support you in battle. Over time, the island is ravaged by a storm where the safe zone shrinks, forcing players to stay ahead of the storm, representing a devastating storm that is sweeping through the area.

With this shrinking safe perimeter, players begin to suffer collateral damage from the battle and end up dying, forcing player encounters. Players can use wood, steel, rocks, and other elements to build supports or structures that will aid in battles.

Party Royale

In this mode, the game tests your skill with the game itself, where you have a very similar adventure to the previous mode, but without the worries of being killed. You have various attractions and challenges such as obstacle courses, boat races, shows, and much more. It’s a party in the game aimed at socializing avatars.

Creative Mode

As the name suggests, in this mode, you can put your imagination to work where you can create an island your way alone or with friends.

The best part is that you can share it with your friends. This way, you can experience thousands of game modes made by people with similar ideas and thoughts to yours.

Save the World

Here you and your squad are the heroes, where you fight against a horde of monsters called husks. The gameplay mode is basically players scavenge the environment.

After a storm, 98% of the game’s population disappears, and those who remain are attacked by monsters.

Your squad is responsible for protecting the survivors, becoming shelter commanders, and collecting what is needed to save the rest of the population. You can also delay the storm through an analysis of the data provided to the game.

Players become more powerful as the game progresses, acquiring weapons, taming animals, and finding loot. They can build a base and fortify it with traps to keep the survivors safe and the monsters away.

Characters: Fortnite Skins

In a game that accommodates dozens of players simultaneously, characters are essential. Skins are highly coveted by all players as they represent power and prestige, indicating that the player either has enough in-game currency to purchase them or has spent many hours in the game to earn the most stylish outfits.

You can acquire Fortnite skins in the in-game store using V-Bucks, the game’s virtual currency, which you can obtain by completing missions or by purchasing packs with real money using your credit card.

The game offers a wide range of skin options with various visuals. In addition to the standard skins, there are special event skins tied to tournaments such as Christmas, Avengers, Norse gods, Disney pop culture, and more. This allows you to customize your avatar however you desire and dive into this world of fun.

Some tips of a new Fortnite skins in 2024:

  • Original Characters: These unique designs created by Epic Games come in various styles, ranging from cartoonish characters to ninjas and superheroes;
  • Licensed Skins: Many Fortnite skins feature characters from other franchises such as Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars, and other video games;
  • Special Event Skins: Epic Games occasionally releases skins specifically for in-game events and limited-time offers, which can become coveted collector’s items;
  • Battle Pass Characters: The Fortnite Battle Pass offers exclusive skins that can be unlocked by progressing through season challenges.

Battle Passes in Fortnite

As the name suggests, it’s a form of admission that you can acquire for free or purchase to participate in a rewards system with multiple levels that offers players new resources as they progress. To advance through the levels, completing missions and collecting coins (XP) is necessary to progress.

Even though there’s a free version, the real fun lies in the paid pass, as it grants access to the game’s premium feature. This gives you access to various items such as skins, cosmetics, and even V-Bucks (the in-game currency used for purchases) that you can use to buy more passes for the new season or upcoming tournament.

Some of the Most Popular Skins

The various skins available in the game are a significant differentiator. In addition to being a symbol of power, they also serve to distinguish players. They are based on various characters from different themes and even the creation of new characters with a highly irreverent and creative style.

Raven

This one is topping the charts and is a representation of what the human version of Edgar Allan Poe’s raven would look like. It’s very popular among players for its dark visual appeal.

In Fortnite, the female character is seen wearing a purple costume, resembling the popular Fortnite skin known as Raven.

Skull Trooper

Highly popular during Halloween, this skull-themed skin is an epic outfit that attracts both male and female audiences.

Raptor

One of the rarest skins, as it’s very difficult to appear in the store rotations. Its unique look transforms the player into a test pilot of the Royal Air Force, creating a strong connection with the game’s storyline.

Various Items in the Game Universe

In addition to skins, it’s possible to purchase various items in the game universe to enhance your gaming experience. Check them out below!

Dances in Fortnite

In addition to outfits, you can also purchase various types of “dances,” which are a form of celebration. After eliminating an opponent or winning a match, you can celebrate with the style of dance you’ve chosen.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics are items used in the Fortnite, developed in different shapes and forms, sometimes based on themes, and are available for temporary purchase by users.

Cosmetics include back accessories, gliders, toys, emojis, gestures, costumes, building tools, signaling items like smoke trails, music, and many others.

Some items are associated with seasonal themes, making them rarer over time. For example, a shark glider released in 2018 is no longer available for purchase, becoming a historic item in the game. Those who own it proudly display it as an extremely rare item.

Coins

Coins are collected during matches by players at various locations on the Fortinite maps, yielding good amounts of experience points to boost Battle Pass levels.

The Fortnite offers four types of rare coins with varying points: green, blue, purple, and gold. They respectively offer five thousand, six thousand, ten thousand, and three hundred and fifteen thousand experience points.

However, don’t confuse in-game coins with store coins. These match coins (XP) are experience coins that will raise your level and ranking in the Fortnite. V-Bucks, on the other hand, are the game’s official purchasing currency, used in the store to enhance equipment, buy passes, cosmetics, and other items.

Store

After the islands where tournaments take place, this is players’ favorite place because here you find everything you need to customize your equipment, buy new outfits, cosmetics, and much more.

Here you can make purchases using V-Bucks or credit card. The store is updated frequently, always bringing new items and offers for players.

Fortnite Maps

The map is where the game’s battlefields are located, and it is updated frequently, bringing new adventures and thrills as the game always likes to bring various themes for its tournaments.

It has had some interesting themes in the past that recreate history, such as the “Zumbi dos Palmares” (Zombie of the Palmares), which depicted Brazil’s history, recalling the story of the quilombo and its chief and leader.

Currently, the game’s theme is just the Avatar: The Last Airbender, where players can venture through the game, having fun with bending techniques of the elements: water, air, earth, fire.

Islands

In the Creative mode, users can create islands that can be made public by the game itself for many other players to enjoy. However, it is necessary to follow some rules to maintain order and respect both the game and the users.

Rules for Island Creation Fortnite

These rules describe the correct ways to create, promote, and monetize your islands in Creative mode, provided that you follow the rules.

  • Safe environment: It is not allowed to create or promote content that favors illegal activities such as drug use, criminal organizations, sexual harassment, bullying, exposure of someone’s private data or information, scams, gambling, or cruelty to any animal. Even in a battle environment, threats or depictions of real-world violence are not accepted;
  • Discrimination and intolerance: The game embraces diversity of races, genders, and beliefs. The produced content must not demean, dehumanize, or include any hate speech against any user or group;
  • Be original: Plagiarism of promotional resources from other users, such as skins, titles, thumbnails, and others, is not allowed. Passing off as another player, creator, streamer, company, celebrity, or similar entities is also prohibited;
  • Intellectual property: Creating or publishing any content involving the game’s intellectual property requires a license granted by Epic;
  • Game rating: The game is intended for teenagers, so any content must be within this age range. Therefore, any content specifically targeting adult audiences is not allowed.

Conversely, content for children such as lullabies is also prohibited.

All content must be uniform and appropriate, avoiding sexual content, explicit language, vulgar humor, carnage, references to gambling, or images that cause strong feelings of threat, fear, or terror. The details are outlined in Epic Games’ content rules.

On the Epic Games website, you can find all the guidelines for properly promoting and monetizing your island without causing harm to any involved parties.

Fortnite Tracker

The Fortnite tracker acts as an information collector where you can find metrics and data to improve your performance in the game. It provides data such as number of wins, deaths, performance, types of deaths by weapon, and much more.

Benefits of a Tracker

The biggest advantage is that you can obtain statistics and refine them over time. For example, if you have great accuracy but often die easily in battles, you need to improve your strategies to excel. Since there are several trackers available, it’s ideal to use one that provides comprehensive details rather than shallow statistics.

Some trackers are very detailed, showing your efficiency on various levels. For instance, you can analyze your headshot accuracy and compare it with other players. You can also record your gameplay, capturing key moments where the match was won. This allows you to gather data for yourself or your squad to improve with each match.

However, this feature is meant to enhance your gameplay, and not using it won’t affect your performance or score in any way.

Streaming

In this gaming landscape where realism reigns supreme, top players are now recording their battles to showcase their gaming techniques to others. One of the biggest players in this arena is known as Ninja, who at his peak even hosted a gaming live stream with the singer Drake. Ninja is still considered one of the game’s top players, having even earned a skin based on his real-life avatar.

Competitive gaming has moved beyond the confines of homes and into other venues where groups gather to participate in tournaments, vying for cash prizes. In 2019, eSports began gaining significant recognition, with an event that was a resounding success, culminating in the winner taking home a prize of $3 million.

Such events are becoming increasingly common across various games, showcasing to society a new universe filled with many earning possibilities. All you need is to be a professional player who understands the game’s rules and strategies well enough to captivate an audience with your skills, turning what was once just a leisure activity into something extremely lucrative.

Artists and Themes

As we know, Fortnite features a party mode where it hosts concerts for user socialization. It has welcomed numerous global pop icons such as Ariana Grande, Marshmello, Travis Scott, Emicida (the first Brazilian to perform in the game), and many others. The current feature is Lady Gaga, offering players not only concerts but also items like cosmetics and skins.

In addition to promoting various artists, the game also explores various themes, whether retro gaming, TV series, or scenarios involving human history from different regions of the world. This enhances the way knowledge is absorbed and synthesized.

Therefore, Fortnite is a game that aims to stimulate users’ imagination, allowing them to create and interact with their own world. It’s a game that can unite everyone as a family, promoting not only global but also local entertainment.

And if you have the disposition and imagination to create an island authentically and uniquely, you can actually make money by playing this game, as outlined in Epic Games’ regulations, which detail all the ways you can monetize your island with other players.

Thus, playing a game professionally has now literally become a profession, where what was once a pastime is now a profession with worldwide recognition.

Billie Elish was announced for season 3 of Fortnite and you can’t miss out on this one. With an unlockable skin of the singer with green hair, you can win many valuable items for your games, all while listening to great sounds from Billie Elish. Enjoy!
