The New Minecraft Dimension finally has a name: The Sift. Mojang revealed it during the September 26 Minecraft Live, and it’s already being treated as a milestone in the game’s history.
The New Minecraft Dimension is the first one added in more than 14 years. Until now, the game had only three dimensions: the Overworld, the Nether, and the End.
In short, the New Minecraft Dimension comes to Java Edition and Bedrock Edition in 2027, with no exact date yet. Before that, however, The Sift debuts in Minecraft Dungeons II, which launched on September 29.
