Mastering Mounts in Night Crows: A Complete Guide

A pivotal feature of Night Crows that enhances the player’s experience is its unique system of mounts—dynamic companions that are not only a mode of transportation but also a crucial element of gameplay.

This article delves into the world of mounts in Night Crows. We will explore what mounts are, uncover the various types and categories available, and provide essential insights on how to effectively manage these companions.

What are Mounts in Night Crows?

In Night Crows, mounts are rideable creatures or vehicles that players use to traverse the vast landscapes of the game.

These mounts range from familiar animals to rare and mythical beasts, each offering unique advantages for travel and exploration. Whether based on real-world fauna or fantastical creations, these mounts add depth and excitement to the journey throughout the mystical world of Night Crows.

Managing Mounts in Night Crows

Mounts in Night Crows cannot be traded, ensuring that each player must earn their companions through gameplay

Each mount comes with specific equipment effects, typically influencing speed and defense capabilities. Players can view these effects in the upper left corner under “Equipment Effects.”

Additionally, you can preview the effects and see how they influence a mount’s performance directly in the Mounts section of the game interface.

Combining Mounts in Night Crows

In Night Crows, players can upgrade their mounts by engaging in a synthesis process. This involves using four mounts of the same grade as materials to potentially obtain a higher-grade mount. If the synthesis succeeds, you receive a mount of the next grade up; if it fails, you’ll get a mount of the same grade as those used in the process.

To start the synthesis, select at least four mounts of the same grade. The “Combine” button will activate only when all slots are filled.

The “Auto Select” feature can help streamline this process by automatically choosing mounts from your collection, starting with the lowest grade.

In addition, the system permits up to 400 mounts for Normal/Uncommon grades and 44 for Rare to Mythical grades to be selected for synthesis. The total number chosen is displayed centrally. A synthesis is deemed unsuccessful if it yields a mount of the same grade.

After every 15 failed attempts, the system will automatically provide a mount one grade higher. Specifically for Mythical-grade mounts, a new Mythical-grade mount is guaranteed after every 10 unsuccessful attempts, at which point the count resets.

What are the types of mounts in Night Crows?

In Night Crows, mounts are classified into several grades: Normal, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Mythical, and Special. Each ascending grade offers mounts with enhanced equipment effects and greater stat boosts, enriching your gameplay experience by providing more substantial advantages as you progress to higher-grade mounts.

How to Avoid Lag in Night Crows?

If you’re experiencing lag while playing Night Crows, here are some effective strategies to enhance your gaming experience and reduce interruptions:

1. Use ExitLag

Consider using a network optimization tool like ExitLag, which can reduce ping times by routing your game connection through the fastest and most stable paths. It also provides redundancy for packet transfer, which can help maintain a stable connection to the game servers.

2. Optimize Your Internet Connection

For a more stable and faster internet connection, consider using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi. Ensure other bandwidth-consuming devices and applications are minimized or closed, and try resetting your router or modem to resolve potential connectivity issues.

3. Adjust Game Settings

To reduce the strain on your system, lower the game’s resolution and graphics settings such as textures, shadows, and special effects. Also, look for any settings within the game specifically designed to optimize performance.

4. Monitor Your Hardware

Check that your hardware meets or exceeds the game’s requirements. Consider hardware upgrades if your setup falls short. Additionally, monitor your system for overheating issues, as high temperatures can reduce performance.

5. Optimize Background Processes

Close unnecessary applications to free up system resources. Adjust your computer’s power settings to ‘High performance’ to ensure your system is prioritized for gaming.

6. Update Software and Drivers

Keep your game and operating system updated as developers often release performance improvements and bug fixes. Also, regularly update your graphics card drivers, as new drivers can enhance game performance and compatibility.
